These are made of silicone and are about two inches in diameter. You put the two pieces together to where there are no gaps, turn the tap or funnel some water into the hole that is on the top. Pop that into the freezer for about three to four hours and you get the largest roundest cube of ice (see below).

As you can see, the ice is not a cube, it's a ball of ice. I would NOT suggest throwing it like a snowball or rolled up inside of snow. It can cause serious injury. Note: this is stated for teens that don't think before they act.
The ice cube lasts at least a good four hours in a mug size cup (20oz).
My children have decided to use these to make kool-aid balls and other types of juice, gatorade and other liquids that they could think of. They would make great for hot days, holidays, deserts and even just as a treat.
