Bites: Ten Tales of Vampires

This is a pretty awesome book written by several authors and edited by Rayne Hall.  These tales are not so gory that you would want to be sick to your stomach. They are pretty well your normal teen type vampire tales.

My favorite tale is actually the very first story.  If it hadn't been for a short story to be in the book, I'm sure that this tale will continue into another short story.
The story is about a girl in the mast of a Catholic church with her sister leading it.  Her sister had always gotten the looks, the grades and the guys.  When they would perform on one night a week, they had a few regulars.  One stood out to this girl and as she put it, he was "a ghost" because he was so pale.  After a performance one night for the church, he approached her for a dinner date, only to have her sister but in and invite herself.  Before the date was over that night, her sister and "ghost" had revealed that he was a vampire.  While she was in the lady's room, her sister and Mr. Vampire decided to split.
Would she go to save her sister?  Did she care after being hurt?

The book is actually pretty well meant for mature audiences and perfect for a Halloween night reading!

Two thumbs up and a 5* rating all the way!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
